3rd Annual STAMPlorations Giving Thanks Blog Hop & Wishlist Linky Party

I am so excited to be part of a fabulous event over at STAMPlorations!
It's their 3rd Annual Giving Thanks Bloghop and Linky Party!

STAMPlorations has been an amazing sponsor for the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge for many years!  I am so thankful for their support and generosity over the years! I am also honored to be asked to be a Guest Designer for this amazing event!

Below is the card using the new Full of Thanksgiving- Typografia Thankful.

I used Oxide Distress inks to create the background. I then heat embossed the sentiment. Using CUTplorations Curly Labels/Tags Nesting Dies to die cut the sentiment and background. Using the extra Distressed paper, I added more Oxide Distress ink before die cutting the leaves.

I hope you'll check out the event and see the projects that the other designers made. You have until the end of the month to leave comments and link up a project or two of your own. You'll find all the details here. Plus if you scroll down some more, you'll find links to all the designers.

Inky Paws Challenge #58

It's time for a new Inky Paws Challenge. This biweekly challenge features a super fun sketch!
http://www.inkypawschallenge.com/2017/10/inky-paws-challenge-58.html
For my card, I used this darling cheerleader from Touchdown Tails. My oldest granddaughter just finished her season as a cheerleader for a little league football team.  She had so much fun cheering that I wanted to celebrate her success!  Her team colors were blue and silver. I created a little shaker filled with stars and added glitter silver paper to add more sparkle!  I can't wait to send this to her!  Thanks for visiting my blog. Can't wait to see what you create with your Newton's Nook Designs with this fun IPC sketch!

CIC427-Freckled Fawn

We are sponsored this week by Freckled Fawn.

Freckled Fawn

Thank you for sponsoring the challenge!
Be sure to visit their site for some super cute and unique products!

Here is this week's cupcake (linked to original source):
Inside the Bru Crew Life

For my card, I used some paper clips from Freckled Fawn along with stamps from Paper Smooches. The paper clips inspired me to create a school-like card.

I die cut and stamped the lined paper. Then stamped the little monster on it allowing the blue paper lines to show through. I then used colored pencils to quickly color the monster. I added a couple of stars. Then I stamped the sentiment on a sticky note and used the paper clip to attach.
Thanks for stopping by and hope you will join this week!
Debbie

I used the Halloweenies from Paper Smooches, which is one of my older Halloween stamp sets. This stamp set must be at least 5 years old, probably older.

So Glad We Met on the Web

I wanted to ink up some new Gerda Steiner Stamps. I used Distress Oxide inks to create a fun sunset background to showcase them with the addition of a few sparkly stars. (That sentiment just makes me giggle!)

Challenges:

'Tis the Season (Well maybe not quite yet!)

This card features a cute little stamp from Your Next Stamp.
I wanted to use some non-traditional colors to make a fun, playful Christmas card.

Challenges:

Hope

Here's a card I made for Breast Cancer Awareness month.
Then I die cut the sentiment panel (MFT) and stamped the hope sentiment from Paper Smooches' Flap Happy stamp set. I then stamped the butterfly on the pink card stock and on vellum. I then attached the two together for a 3D look. A added a few sequins for a bit of sparkle.  A simple card with a powerful message.

Challenges:

A Halloween Hello

Here is a Halloween card, I created using the colors from My Favorite Things Color Challenge. I recently purchased MFT's BB Witch Way Is the Candy? and wanted to play with them.  The colors definitely challenged me, but I'm excited how the overall card turned out.
