Inky Paws Challenge #50

It's time for another chance to get your paws inky!  Before I get started I wanted to share some fabulous changes.  Four amazing new members have joined the IPC team, and they are amazingly talented! Please meet:

Emily Lauritzen

Papercrafting has been a huge part of my life for quite some time now, but a few years back I shifted my focus from scrapbooking to cards. I just loved the excitement and joy I saw in my loved ones when they received a handmade card and I wanted to share that feeling with the rest of the world.

My card style is ever changing but the basis stays the same-use the products I love and create what makes me happy. I love to put together a striking colorful background and add some simple layers to build the card up.

My husband and I live in gorgeous Seattle, WA with our 3 kitties-Storm, Cloud, and Ezio. They certainly put a smile on both me and my husbands face and our lives wouldn't be complete without them!

I am beyond excited to be a part of this grand new adventure on the inspiration team here at Newton's Nook!!
Zsofia Molnar

"Hello Everyone, my name is Zsofia, I live in Hungary with my two little kids. I am married to the most wonderful Egyptian man ever who is my biggest support on my crafty journey. I started card making 3 years ago, when I realised that scrapbooking needs so much more time than what I have with 2 little ones.

I love colours and layers and I am fond of cute critters. I also like to try new techniques and challenge myself all the time. You can also see my creations on my blog: safsafdesign. I love Newton's Nook Designs and I am thrilled to join the Inky Paws Challenge Team. I hope to inspire you every week."

Hello Newton’s Nook fans I’m Diane Morales. My motto is “do what you love and share it with others”.

I live in the Historic City of San Juan Capistrano, Ca with my Husband and the tribe of three cats.

Like most, I started in scrapbooking and moved into full time cardmaking about 2 years ago. I love cardmaking! Although, am quite fond of shaped cards and hand painting, I can an honestly say I do not have a defined style. (I like to try all kind of techniques)

I first fell in love with Newton’s Nook when I was looking for a stamp set that best reflect how my cats acted.  “Newton’s Antics” was my first set, and it has been LOVE ever since. When I am not “procraftinating” you can find me with a cup of coffee, cooking, or gardening. You can find me on Instagram as  2. sistersproject   #dianeiscrafty
1st we have some new amazing design members! Their talent is absolutely amazing!

Blissfully Scrappy

I'm so excited to be joining the new Inky Paws Challenge Design Team (I may have let out a little shriek when I got the invitation)!  I am happily married to my soulmate, a wonderful man who encourages me in my papercrafting obsession.  We have two children who bring us much joy (as well as give us a few headaches), an adorable Westie, and a bunny.  I've been scrapbooking for 12 years and fell in love with cardmaking a little over a year ago.  When I'm not crafting, you can find me doing home improvement projects, gardening, reading, or volunteering.  I look forward to sharing my projects with you and hope I can inspire you!

Other Changes to the challenge:

IPC is going to be bi-weekly!  No more 5th week to have to sit and wait!  There will now be one RANDOM winner of a $20 prize (yes, #20!!!).  Last, the IPC ladies will each pick her favorite entry to spotlight, too!  I'm so excited about all the new changes!

Now onto the challenge:
Color challenge
Inky Paws Challenge #50 | Color Challenge: White, Melon, Grape and Strawberry | Newton's Nook Designs #newtonsnook
Create a project using fruity colors: white, melon, grape and strawberry

You have TWO WEEKS to play along - Deadline to enter is Friday, July 14, 2017 at Midnight CST. The winner and DT favorites will be announced on the NND blog the following Monday.

My card features NND's Pineapple Delight.  I created the background using watercolors and Cling Wrap.  I love how it turned out.  I then heat embossed the sentiment and pineapple.  Such fun colors to play with!  Hope you will join us!
